Day 9-Feeling blessed in the centre of this big country

Dear Uluru and Kata Tjura,
I was pretty sure I would like you, actually I thought I would be greatly impressed and you have not let me down.
Your beauty has been magnificent and your power has been nothing short of magical, totally spiritual.
And while we are talking about grand experiences, thanks also to Ayers Rock resort, Sails in the Desert you have also been impressive, I know I was panicked by your sheer size (& now mine after complimentary buffet breakfasts and great priced buffet dinners, and no I haven't been eating lunch-no need!)
Today we watched the sunrise at Uluru, by far our most colourful sunrise all trip, we followed this with breakfast, a trip to the camel farm (highlight of the day for the kids!). This afternoon we did the Uluru base tour including sunset viewing. Such a great day! I have had my trip highlights already but will continue touring tomorrow when we head to Alice Springs.
As to be expected I was brought to tears by the sunrise and again shed tears at the sunset.
Here are some images of the day.
Enjoy! We did!
